We just got back from Ann Arbor, MI and the Electrical Training ALLIANCE’s National Training Institute (NTI). This is the annual gathering of Instructors, Directors and support personal from the nation’s best JATC’s. This year our instructors attended training on Hands on Labs for AC Theory and Power Quality and Concepts in Foremanship. These are two great subjects that we are excited to bring back to our program.
A big thanks goes out to Fluke and their support of the labs and demonstrations. It was great to play with the big meters and see it all come together.
The WCJATC and Southwire invite you to a night of free training!
The Training Center will be hosting Doyle Elder, designer of the MB1000 Bend Station Pro, and Mike Duran, Regional Territory Manager, Monday, August 17th at 5 -8 pm

Things are starting to pick up at the WCJATC.
We have multiple large electrical projects going on right now and am looking towards a busy 2015.
If you are tired of just having a “job” and am looking for a life long career, give us a call. We are currently looking for Apprentices for a Fall 2015 class.
The WCJATC want to thank the Fluke Corporation for their wonderful donation of multiple test instruments. Fluke donated 4 sets of a 725 Multi-function Process Calibrator, test pump and pressure module. These will all be used in our enhanced Test Instrumentation Class.
Also, Fluke donated a Fluke Connect enabled digital multimeter. If you have not played with a Fluke Connect meter, you are missing out. These are blue tooth enable meters and testing instruments. You can de-energize a panel, hook up you meter without 70E requirements. Close the panel with the meter still in place. Re-energize and sit back and take your measurements. How great is that?! Plus, you can send Work Orders and take photos all with the free smart phone app. Click on the image above or the link below to a great video showing off the new system.

Welcome New Apprentices!
We have started our 2014-25 School Year and are off to a bang. Our new First Years have started class last Saturday and everyone else will get going this week. We hope everyone had a great summer and are ready to come back and get going.
The WCJATC is proud to have participated in the 2014 National Training Institute. This is the premier training for Instructors and Administrator within the Electrical Industry. During the six day Institute there were classes ranging from Instrumentation Calibration to How to Teach AC Theory to Medium Voltage Cable Splicing.
We are excited to take all the information home and make our classes and Instructors that much better.
Thanks to the NJATC for their amazing support and unmatched curriculum.
